Motherhood and angst have become synonymous in my world. With no gold star, promotion, or "atta girl," even when I survive the most challenging of days, I derive a sense of purpose and self-worth from my own intuition and personal ethos -- not an easy in a culture that is obsessed with external validation and praise. But, when I apply my pre-baby ambition and tenacity to the tasks of motherhood, I end up in an angst pit. Ride along and read my blog: Angst Mom- A Neurotic Mother's Musings where I share my unique perspective on motherhood.

On the professional side I am an Addiction Specialist and psychotherapist
with over 15 years of experience in the field of addiction and recovery. My practice
addresses issues of motherhood and anger, sadness, grief, and addiction.
For those moms who secretly struggle with one or more of these, there is help
for you. The LA Bridge Club, led by me in a safe and confidential
environment, is a weekly support group for moms seeking sober solutions

My services include:
• Private consultations;
• Drug, alcohol, and crisis intervention;
• Groups for moms who struggle with addiction;
• Groups for postpartum moms;
• Groups for teen girls;

Whether you choose to join the group or not read MomAddict: a blog that
